What is SSC CGL 2023?

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Combined Graduate Level (CGL) exam is a national-level exam conducted by the SSC. SSC CGL 2023 Exam Dates

SSC CGL 2023 Exam Pattern

The SSC CGL 2023 exam will be conducted in four tiers. Here is the exam pattern for each tier:

Tier 1

The first tier will be a computer-based test.
There will be four sections: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension.
The exam will consist of 100 questions, with each section having 25 questions.
The total marks for the exam will be 200.
The duration of the exam will be 60 minutes.

Tier 2

The second tier will also be a computer-based test.
There will be four sections: Quantitative Abilities, English Language and Comprehension, Statistics, and General Studies (Finance and Economics).
The exam will consist of 500 questions, with each section having 100-150 questions.
The total marks for the exam will be 800.
The duration of the exam will be 120 minutes.

Tier 3

The third tier will be a descriptive paper.
The exam will consist of essay writing, letter writing, and application writing.
The total marks for the exam will be 100.
The duration of the exam will be 60 minutes.

Tier 4

The fourth tier will be a skill test or computer proficiency test, depending on the job profile.
